Inspired by the enchanting world of My Neighbor Totoro, this handmade ceramic Catbus figurine holds a deeply personal meaning for me.
Among the many Totoro-themed pieces I’ve created over the years, this particular figurine was my graduation project—completed just before the closing of the Tao Meng Workshop. Its whimsical design not only reflects my love for Totoro, but also marks a pivotal milestone in my ceramic journey.
Now part of my Ceramic Showcase, this one-of-a-kind piece symbolizes both my artistic beginnings and my ongoing passion for storytelling through clay.
