These two porcelain plates began as simple round forms, but an unexpected accident during the making process caused changes to their shapes. Instead of seeing it as a flaw, I followed my usual approach — to create with ease, and accept each piece’s journey with gratitude.
As the edges shifted from smooth circles to organic, irregular forms, I allowed the transformation to guide the final design. To me, they became even more beautiful — a reminder that ceramics, like life, often follow their own path.
Both pieces have found a home with the same wonderful customer at Park Royal MAKERS, and I’m truly thankful for the connection.
